Protector

The robin, steadfast in protecting her young, conjures memories of motherhood. This particular robin perched over the mudroom door to our home a few years ago. As a family, we propped up a mirror to get a glimpse of the eggs when the mother was away. No matter how many times we opened and closed that door, the mother robin rarely left. How similar we are to the small creatures of this world. Monotype. Print size 16" x 20". $650 framed.
